Texas Gold Rush Adventure & Music Festival
It's a weekend that combines outdoor adventure and family fun like no other. The First Annual Texas Gold Rush Adventure and Music Festival will bring together over 30,000 people for an authentic western experience they'll never forget.
The Gold Rush Adventure
Somewhere between a camping trip and a weekend in Vegas lies the Texas Gold Rush Adventure. We'll bury over one million dollars worth of gold coins, ingots and bullion across several hundred acres of Texas countryside. On Saturday, you'll have seven hours to scour the landscape for gold, and what you find, you keep! Hunters must have metal detectors to plot out a methodical search pattern or follow your nose. Either way, you'll go home with stories to tell-and maybe a fortune to spend!

The Music Festival
From Friday through Sunday, Prospector's Park will be full great music; the day before the Gold Rush, the adventure kicks off in style-1800's style, that is. Saloons, arts and crafts, carnival rides and live music create a festive western atmosphere that will set the tone for an adventure like no other. On Saturday, the Festival will be in full force during the Gold Rush, which spectators will be able to watch live via streaming video. And we'll cap off an unforgettable day with a live concert and amazing fireworks show under the stars. Sunday will also feature a great lineup of music as a great finish to an incredible weekend.
Charity Involvement: The Lance Armstrong Foundation
At the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF), we unite people to fight cancer, believing that unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. Together, we can conquer cancer. We can save hundreds of thousands of the 560,000 lives our country loses to cancer each year, and for those who have been affected by cancer, we can make their lives better. Our mission is to inspire and empower people affected by cancer. There can be - and should be - life after cancer for more people. For many people living with cancer, LIVESTRONG represents hope, courage and perseverance, inspired by our founder and chairman, Lance Armstrong.
